About us

When I started Princes Building Company I did two important things: first, I thought about the type of builder I would want in my home. I had a busy wife, young family and was involved with my wife in supporting youth groups. I knew I would want a builder who would work around my lifestyle, someone who would care for our home as much as we did and respect our wishes. Someone who would tell us when professionally they thought our idea was unworkable, but someone who was open-minded enough to try our ideas. I also knew that people in the Havering, Brentwood and surrounding areas would want a local builder from their area.

Secondly I thought about all the things people seem to dislike about the less reputable builders: asking for money up front, leaving the job half done, and using inferior materials, right down to trampling on the flower beds and not vacuuming up afterwards. I promised myself that Princes Building Company would be different! That extends to our qualification under the Trading Standards' Buy With Confidence Scheme.
